2019 BERG ATTRACTS RANGE OF EARLY ENTRIES

As the first rains of the winter drench the Western Cape, paddlers have started entering the 2019 edition of the Berg River Canoe Marathon which will be raced from 3 to 6 July, with younger elite racers throwing their hats into the ring early on.

DISTELL APPOINTS NEW HEAD WINEMAKER

The new head winemaker at Distell is Andrea Freeborough. Cellar-master at Nederburg since 2015, she will be leaving her position at the Paarl winery at the end of May to take up her new role in overseeing the production of South Africa’s largest wine portfolio.
