CELEBRATE OUR VINEYARDS AND 2020 VINTAGE AT RHEBOKSKLOOF’S ANNUAL FAMILY HARVEST FESTIVAL FROM 27 TO 28 MARCH

Experience our Annual Winemaker’s Dinner on Friday 27 March.

There are few greater unions in life than wine and food, which is why we’re starting the Harvest Festival Weekend with our Winemaker’s Dinner. Chef Kim Cox has created an indulgent 4-course menu featuring ingredients such as fresh oysters, sticky braised lamb, and an indulgent dessert that will make even Nigella Lawson blush.

Each dish will be paired with one of our award-winning wines, as our Winemaker Rolanie Lotz shares her philosophy and stories behind each paired varietal. Be the first to hear her thoughts on the 2020 vintage and how it may compare to the wine you’ll be sipping.

For R650 per person, be one of just 30 guests at our exclusive Winemaker’s Dinner on Friday 27 March at 18:30 for 19:00.

Make Saturday the Day for Harvest Festival Family Fun.

Bring the family, both old and young and have barrels of fun at our annual Harvest Festival on 28 March.

If you’d like to prepare for the day and hone more than just your grape stomping skills, be sure to practice the following:

  • Navigating your way through an obstacle course while racing to fill a wine bottle.
  • Skiet die kurk met ‘n kettie! It’s all about aim as you shoot painted corks onto white paper using a slingshot.
  • Eat grapes from hanging bunches, while blindfolded and your hands tied behind your back.

Think you’ve got what it takes? Show off your skills and do it all for just R50.

If you’d prefer something synonymous with a traditional harvest festival, we’ve got vineyard tours on tractors, grape stomping, barrel rolling, live music, and a gourmet food area with all your market favourites.

For the kids, we’ve got activities they’ll love, like carriage and pony rides, a jumping castle, slip and slide, as well as face painting. This year we’re also letting their creative juices flow by giving them the chance to design their very own wine label. So instead of hanging their artwork on your fridge, stick their designs onto an unlabelled bottle of wine for just R100.

We look forward to showing you what makes Rhebokskloof an estate with heart at our Harvest Festival from 27 – 28 March.
