Established in 1975 as the first commercial gallery in the town, the Hout Street Gallery in Paarl exhibits works by well-known and emerging South African artists.
It also offers a wide range of gifts and crafts, ceramics, bronzes and hand-blown glass and stocks a comprehensive range of Carrol Boyes functional art.
Situated in a charming Georgian building which boasts in the oldest shop front in Paarl, the Gallery is an extension of founders David and Gail Zetler’s home. With forty years’ experience, David is in demand as a dealer, art advisor, curator and judge and is an expert on South African art.
