Cheetah Conservation with Vincent van der Merwe

November 20 @ 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Did you know that there are only around 7,000 cheetahs left in the wild? Would you like to hear more?

Join us on Wednesday 20 November when we welcome Vincent van der Merwe, Cheetah Metapopulation Coordinator with the Endangered Wildlife Trust, to our tasting room. Since 2011, Vincent has overseen the growth of the metapopulation from 217 Cheetah on 41 reserves to 385 individuals on 60 reserves. In 2015 he was the recipient of the Endangered Wildlife Trust Conservation Achiever of the year award, and in 2017 he received the South African National Parks Kudu Award for Individual contribution to Conservation.

This promises to be another fascinating evening for conservation enthusiasts. Tickets cost R120 and this includes a plate of food from Sit Café, a glass of Painted Wolf wine and a small donation to the Endangered Wildlife Trust. Tickets are available here: https://qkt.io/J5m1Rc or direct from our tasting room.
