After the success of its Autumn Field and Winter Field-to-Feast events, Avondale Wine’s proprietor, Johnathan Grieve, and Faber’s chef-patron, Eric Bulpitt, are hosting another two Field-to-Feast events: on 17 September and 26 November 2017 in picturesque Paarl.
The interactive events include a fascinating farm tour in Avondale’s vintage tractor-trailer, during which guests will happily receive insights into the philosophy and practices employed on Avondale’s farm, cellar and, of course, in Faber’s professional kitchen. And then, sit down to a delicious feast prepared by chef Eric and his team.
If you are unable to make the September luncheon, be sure to diarise the final Field-to-Feast 2017 event, taking place on 26 November – which will be a decidedly summer affair.
