Vondeling’s Savoury Cheesecake & Wine Pairings in 2019 were extremely popular and sold-out events each time, and these sensational taste experiences are back in 2020 to titillate your taste buds and to introduce new wines to Vondeling friends.
On Saturday 28 March 2020 Vondeling Wines in Voor-Paardeberg, Paarl, will be bringing fans a food and wine experience when 4 different savoury cheesecakes will be paired with 4 of Vondeling’s most well-loved wines, including the signature white blend, Babiana, and signature red blend, Monsonia. These savoury cheesecakes are made with 4 different types of cheese, including cream cheese, parmesan, mozzarella and cheddar cheese.
The tasting will start at 11H00 for 11H30 and only 30 seats are available.
Guests will be welcomed with a glass of Vondeling Rosé and some biltong on arrival. Included in the tasting are the following pairings:
1. Salmon cheesecake paired with Vondeling Chardonnay
2. Chicken & Peppadew cheesecake paired with Vondeling Babiana
3. Biltong cheesecake paired with Vondeling Monsonia
4. Salami cheesecake paired with Vondeling Barrel Selection Merlot
The cheesecakes are utterly delicious and very filling, so guests are guaranteed to have their tummies satisfied by this delicious lunch.
