I & F Elegant Country Tours specialises in luxury, personalised tours. Based in the middle of our traditional South African Winelands (Paarl – 65km outside Cape Town), we are experts in organising any required Winelands tour.
Typical other Cape Town region tour highlights on offer are the Cape Peninsula (Cape Point), Table Mountain, Kirstenbosch National Botanical Gardens, Boulders Beach penguins, Whale watching, Shark Cage diving, etc.
Moving further afield, our tours cover experiences such as the Garden Route, private game reserves, the Big 5, the Addo Elephant Park and Wild Flowers in the Northern Cape (Namaqualand).
Our latest addition is a tour taking you back to the roots of the Afrikaans Language. Initiated by the management of Augusta Kleinbos, the home of manyAfrikaans pioneers and place where the first Afrikaans medium school proudly stands today,I& F Elegant Country Tours was invited to come on board.
The result was a full day tour starting in Cape Town where we pick up the roots of Afrikaans in the “Bo-Kaap” (Malay Quarters) at the first Madrasah, ending at Augusta Kleinbos where tourists will have the opportunity to have their footprints taken as testimony that they walked“in die spore van Afrikaans” – In the footprints of Afrikaans.
In addition to the above, we also have a 7-day “Spore”tour for our clients in Belgium,Netherlands and Germany, where the roots of Afrikaans lie very deep – see our website- www.ifafricatours.co.za
The “Footprints” tour is spiced with visits to spectacular places in and around Cape Town with Table Mountain and Cape of Good Hope the main attractions.
The “In die spore van Afrikaans” tour will be the first of its kind in South Africa.
