For more than 35 years Cattle Baron has been developing the perfect steak. The many awards that have been won in the prestigious “Steakhouse of the Year Award” competitions by various branches over the past years bear testimony to our success story. Ronnie (one of the directors of the Paarl Branch) won the award for the Best Steak House in South Africa in 1997 and repeated this achievement in 2002 at the Cattle Baron Grill House in Newlands.
The Cattle Baron in Paarl is a company owned store. It is a modern streamlined, more efficient operation than it’s previous predecessor. The store is currently owned by Ronnie Dick, the CEO of the CATTLE BARON FRANCHISE COMPANY and partner Franco Adams. Franco has been with the Cattle Baron for 13 years. He operated as the Head Chef and still functions as the Projects and Developments Manager for the Group. Franco will be the face of the business, and we have no doubt that he will assure the success of the business with the Cattle Baron Franchise Company assistance.
The Cattle Baron caters for the discerning business man – BUSINESS MEN’S LUNCH BUFFET WEDNESDAY TO FRIDAY EVERY WEEK, FOR ONLY R69,90 – (UNBELIEVABLE VALUE) and the family diner. We also contribute to the community by providing A SENIOR CITIZENS LUNCH BUFFET WEDNESDAY TO FRIDAY FOR ONLY R55,90. Sunday’s we have a family open day with a choice of a-la-carte or our famous buffet with a variety of delicious roasts. Renowned for our mouth-watering steaks, the secret of our success lies in the preparation of our meat. Our perfectly aged grain-fed beef is wet aged ensuring our steaks are consistently juicy, tender and full of flavour.
At Cattle Baron Paarl we offer a unique menu with simple, home cooked dishes that reflect traditional elements of food and we also offer a range of succulent signature steaks. Our steaks are accompanied by a variety of mouth-watering sauces prepared by our own in-house chefs. Our signature steaks include our Green Pepper Fillet Madagascar, the ever famous brandied, Flaming Chateaubriand, our perfectly cut 600g T-Bone Steak and our Blackened Pepper Fillet.
We still use the old fashioned charcoal grills with firebrick, which enables us to grill at optimal temperatures, producing moist, tender, melt-in-your-mouth steaks. Our legendary steaks are aged and basted with our unique marinades and seasoning.
We continually strive to raise the standard of meat served in our Grill and Bistro. We also pride ourselves on delivering to our customers elegant dining and unsurpassed standards of service in relaxed surroundings.
