Summer is made for lazy Sunday lunches on the stoep, and what better way than to do it on a wine farm overlooking the vineyards and mountains. Chef David Mac Donald from Ukuvuna Kitchen will be hosting a lovely Sunday lunch and cooking demo at Vondeling on Sunday 8 November.
Pan fried potato gnocchi with summer vegetables and a light parmesan sauce.
The cooking of the starter will be done as a demo, and will be served as a plated dish
The main course will be done in a farm-to-table style. This will not be a demo but guests will be able to interact with Chef David and ask questions.
Apple cider roasted pork belly with sage, apple and onion
Charred broccoli with Huguenot cheese and mustard
Slow roasted carrots with dukkah spice
Wedge salad with radish, fennel, cucumber and creamy dressing
