Sunday Stoep Sessions at Vondeling Wines (Paarl)

Summer is made for lazy Sunday lunches on the stoep, and what better way than to do it on a wine farm overlooking the vineyards and mountains. Chef David Mac Donald from Ukuvuna Kitchen will be hosting a lovely Sunday lunch and cooking demo at Vondeling on Sunday 11 April.
SEAFOOD DEMO:
How to clean:
– Fish
– Prawns
– Mussels
We will be making a basic fish stock and cooking mussels for our starter.
STARTERS:
Pickled fish;
Moules Mariniere – West coast Mussels mussels cooked in Vondeling Sauvignon Blanc with fresh herbs and cream;
Traditional Vetkoek
MAINS
Braised beef short rib with pumpkin puree and gremolata oil;
Crispy potatoes with mustard cream and spring onion;
Sesame seed broccoli;
Wedge salad with radish, cucumber, tomato, croutons and parmesan dressing
DESSERTS NEEDS TO BE PRE ORDERD FOR R80 EXTRA PER PERSON
Vanilla panna cotta with crumble and plum

Cost: R320 pp includes a demo, glass of Vondeling Rosé 2020 welcome drink and a two-course meal (starters and mains). R80 pp extra for dessert.
