Babylonstoren

Dating back to 1692, Babylonstoren is a historic Cape Dutch farm that boasts one of the best preserved farmyards in the Cape. It is known for its magnificent garden that is laid out over 3,5 hectares (8 acres).

Every aspect of Babylonstoren, including the contemporary Farm Hotel & Spa, the Farm Shop and Bakery, are led by the ever-changing tapestry and botanical diversity of the garden.

Guests are invited to join in the harvesting, pruning, planting or picking of our many fruit, herbs, nuts, spices and vegetables. Walks span over three kilometres in the garden and the gardeners would love to give you a guided tour every day at 10h00. Bookings essential.

Mooibly Cottages

Mooibly, which translated means “Keep well” offers five charming thatched cottages, each on with their own “wine name”.

The cottages can sleep up to six people and are fully equipped and have barbecue facilities with private verandahs.

The magnificent views of the Mooibly vineyards and Wellington valley is more than enough cause to be able to relax and connect with nature.

Mooibly is an ideal base from which to explore the rest of the Winelands.

Oude Denneboom

Oude Denneboom is located in the renowned Voor-Paardeberg area of the Paarl Winelands.

Their 4-star accommodation was born out of the necessity to preserve the old buildings on the farm.

The shepherd’s cottage date from the early 1800’s. Every cottage on this farm has its own story of a previous life and a different contribution to the farm and forms an integral part of Oude Denneboom’s history and everyday life.

The Shepherd’s Cottage and Stable Cottage is located in the heart of a private game reserve, surrounded by huge trees and views of beautiful mountain ranges.

There is an abundance of animal and bird life, including species such as Springbok, eland, blue wildebeest and zebra. Each cottage can accommodate up to four guests and has two bedrooms.

The newly renovated Vineyard cottages are located on a different part of the farm and is surrounded by vineyards and olive trees. They also have beautiful views towards the Paardeberg mountain range. There are two semi-detached cottages and their Vineyard loft cottage.

The cottages’ living areas come equipped with a fireplace as well as an outside fire pit and they share a small swimming pool.

Children can spot zebras, eland, wilbebeest and various other animals. They can also run around or cycle freely, giving mom and dad much needed time off.

Schoongezicht Country house

The Schoongezicht Country House is spacious and is situated in the centre of a farm with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains.

The country farm house is spacious and modern with all amenities provided. At the front of the house is a balcony where beautiful views can be enjoyed of amazing scenery, beautiful dams and mountains.

The two big, en-suite rooms are extremely comfortable and to wake up to the tranquillity of the surroundings is absolutely amazing.
