Laborie Estate is a historic working farm in the foothills of Paarl Mountain, less than an hour’s drive from Cape Town. Situated just next to the N1 highway, it has easy access to Paarl with its many tourist attractions, whilst offering a tranquil environment to visitors. Two restaurants, luxury guest rooms and self-catering venues set among the vineyards and a wine-tasting venue with some of the most breathtaking views in the Boland, are just some of the comforts which Laborie offers its guests.

ACCOMMODATION

Laborie Estate offers outstanding four-star accommodation comprising of seven luxury double rooms and 1 deluxe suite, all furnished in a Cape French style. The Jonkershuis cottage offers self-catering accommodation for six guests and is also a wonderful setting for brides and bridal parties getting ready for their big day.

All guest rooms overlook the historic Manor House werf, beautiful vineyards and the majestic Drakenstein Mountains. Sit outside under the oak trees on the werf at sunset, drink a glass of chilled wine and enjoy the beautiful view and the wonderful farm, granted to the French Huguenot Isaac Taillefert in 1691.

​Villa 28, is a self-catering option for up to 12 people, and is a beautiful 1920’s thatched roof house, renovated to perfection with modern facilities, and lots of old world charm. The property is adjacent to Laborie Estate, with only a short walk through the vineyards to enjoy all of the facilities on offer at the Estate. It offers 6 double/twin rooms, a living room, dining room and a fully equipped kitchen. It also has a beautiful, spacious garden and private swimming pool. Villa 28 is the ideal space for family groups or friends wanting to enjoy a relaxed time in Paarl.
